AUMENTAN LAS AYUDAS COVID Y SE INCLUYEN MÁS SECTORES

The recent publication in the Official State Gazette of April 21 of the Royal Decree-Law 6/2021 of April 20, 21 Aprilwhich adopts complementary measures to support companies and self-employed workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, introduces substantial novelties: Covid aid increases and more sectors are included.

Article 3 of Royal Decree-Law 5/2021, of March 12, of extraordinary measures to support business solvency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic is amended,

This allows the autonomous communities to expand the sectors and companies. They will be able to benefit from the line of direct aid to self-employed and companies. Exceptionally, such aid may be granted to viable companies that have had a negative result in 2019.

In the Balearic Islands, what does the Balearic government plan to do to increase covid aid?

The maximum aid is increased from 200,000 to 500,000 euros and priority is given to direct aid to self-employed and small companies.

On the other hand, in order to make it easier for companies to pay their non-tax obligations, the Economy and Finance Delegations are authorized to grant companies a grace period of 2 years from the due date for the payment thereof, and a subsequent payment in installments of the debt of up to 2 years.

At Confialia we keep a close eye on everything that is published, both in official and journalistic media. It is true that on most occasions, press reports are published before the official publication and not always what is finally confirmed is what was initially publicized.

We have set up a service to help our customers who meet the requirements established by the call for applications to apply for these grants.

It only remains to wait for the publication of the call in the Official Bulletin of the Balearic Islands.
