At last the Spanish legislator has dared to say what is and what is not a Self-Employed in Spain, if you feel identified I am sorry and if not, congratulations. Look at what the preamble of the Law on Urgent Reforms of Self-Employment tells us:
- The self-employed have demonstrated a significant capacity for recovery after the crisis and a huge potential in terms of employment generation.
- The self-employed is the one who does not have a fixed income, but rather an uncertain and variable income over time.
- The self-employed are subject to worse financing than other entrepreneurs and to a high default rate
- The self-employed suffer from high customer payment delays, especially from public administrations.
Well, now we know that the Spanish legislator is aware of many of the things that the self-employed suffer. Will the improvements proposed in the Law be sufficient?
